there is so much “force-fed beauty” in our society. most people have unconsciously set their mindset to believe certain things are ugly. but why?
personally, i try to see the good in everything there is. who says that trash isn’t purposeful art? who says the cracks in the sidewalks aren’t intricate maps of another realm? who says the warthog is an eye-sore of a creature?
so constantly intake the details of your surroundings; notice the things that are seemingly trivial and give them meaning. open your mind to the possibilities and accept them all. soon you will find that being content with your surroundings isn’t so hard after all.
good luck finding that beauty that is within you
